Jorge Martín is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer, joined the Aprilia Racing MotoGP team ahead of the 2025 season, after leaving Pramac Ducati. 

The move marked a big step in Martín’s career after finishing as runner-up in the 2023 MotoGP championship. Aprilia signed him to lead their title challenge with their improved RS-GP bike, showing their trust in his speed and experience. 

Martín signed a contract with Aprilia Racing in June 2024, keeping him under contract through the end of the 2026 season. He is the highest paid rider, earns an estimated $8 million, translating to around €6.8 million or £5.87 million per year, equivalent to about $153,800 ( about £112,900 or €131,100 ) per week.
